Karen’s son Devin was murdered on November 4, 2002. Karen is a founding member of the Calgary Homicide Support Society in 2014 and continues to serve as President of the Board.

Gord’s only daughter, Sarah, was murdered on August 3rd, 2008. Gord joined the Board in 2016 and provides valuable insight to guide the Board on the needs of the support group members.
