Scott and his family lost their niece and great niece to homicide in the summer 2016. Sara was 34, a single mom raising her daughter Taliyah, who was only 5 years old. Scott and his family endured three days of an amber alert until Taliyah was finally found (dead).
The sometimes overwhelming grief remains today however Scott would like for “some good” to come out of this personal tragedy.
Scott is a CPA, and grandfathered CA, and has in excess of 25 years of experience. He spent the first 15 years with Deloitte as an Associate Partner in the Assurance and Advisory practice and his last 10 years Scott has held CFO positions with both private and publicly traded companies.
He is also a current member of a Board of Directors of a publicly traded company and was a member of a community Board of Directors whereby he fulfilled the role of treasurer.
As such, Scott envisions that his personal and professional experience will be utilized by the Board of CHSS in the hopes of making a difference to those current and future victims of homicide.
